    <title>Water temperature and salinity at Ottagono Alberoni (OA) station in the Lagoon of Venice (IT) from November 2023 to July 2024</title>

    <abstract>
      <para>Time series of water temperature (°C) and salinity at Ottagono Alberoni (OA) study area (45.348391°N, 12.307300°E) in the Lagoon of Venice (IT), from 02/11/2023 to 18/07/2024. Data were collected at a depth of about –1 m relative to mean sea level. Measurements were carried out using a HOBO U24 data logger, which continuously recorded (5-minute interval) temperature and Electrical Conductivity (100–55 µS/cm). Conductivity data were temperature-compensated using the Non-linear Sea Water Compensation (PSS-78) algorithm, converted to Specific Conductance at 25 °C, and subsequently to Salinity (PSS-78). Conductivity values were calibrated against in situ measurements obtained with portable probes at intervals of approximately 1–2 months. The measurements were performed during bio-ecological studies.</para>
